Intended local and regional projects
The projects that we would like to initiate in Almere and region (Flevoland), after having raised the acquired funding are;
- Stimulation of social cohesion through generation integration. Within this project we would like to stimulate integration and social cohesion in the different parts of the city by bringing youngsters, adults and elderly people together. Through generation integration we hope to develop better understanding between the groups in order to create a better social environment and/or social climate.
- Youth projects which are focused on prevention, information and instruction. The different topics are being addressed within the teenage groups to prevent possible problems concerning alcohol and drug abuse, going beyond the sexual/moral boundaries and for example the correct use of social media, etc.
- Youth Empowerment projects. These project are aimed to empower girls and adolescent mothers with children.
- GPC Service Centre School&Work. We would like to elevate the foundation to the next level for it also to become a service centre where all the relevant information concerning school and work is concentrated and can be provided to students of the Intermediate Vocational Education as well to those of the Higher Vocational Education in the province/region. Also we would like to become a breeding place for innovative ideas concerning society and the social domain and the great challenge we face to fight against poverty.
